Building on the success of their earlier research, Norwood and the Great War and West Norwood Cemetery and the Second World War, Peter Hodgkinson and John Clarke have now moved their attention to describe casualties from the Anglo-
This new booklet makes their findings freely available. It covers the lives of the 15 known burials and commemorations of casualties from the Boer War that can be found in the cemetery. There is also one family grave related to a South African fatal casualty who is not commemorated on the surviving memorial. All bar two of the casualties were buried in South Africa.
In addition to the main gazetteer, the booklet includes brief notes on the Boer War, the cost in lives of the war, a map of South Africa, a map of the cemetery showing the square numbers, and two articles on the Imperial Yeomanry and enteric fever.
